Dear blogshop owners,

I will blog on how to start a blog shop and where to get supply. In addition, I will blog on my work for http://blogshoplist.homeip.net Hope many new blog shop owners will get help from my blogs. Blog shop costs almost nothing. To start a blogshop, it only needs your time, hard work and lots of creativity! And most importantly, your stick-to-it-iveness (Usually, it take about a year for your blogshop to take off!). Most successful "new" blogshops are not new at all, their owners have been around for quite sometimes, like previously partnered with someone else. As a matter of fact, she has past experience on where to get her regular stock, current mailing list and some fashion sense. It is always a learning in process and I hope you enjoy the journey. Do visit this blog often for the latest news and tips, to better your shop!

I recommend Nikon camera for your fashion shoot! It is better in quality than sony, samsung, panasonic, canon.

Official Release of Facebook Shop - yongshopping

Hi everyone, good news!

here is the official release of facebook shop. It lets you create a shop inside your facebook. You customer can now order directly in your facebook profile.




Notice there is a shop tab for your friends to view your products. You can use photos from any web server such as picassa, photobucket and facebook. Click here to view my actual facebook shop.




Each time you received an order, you will be notified convenient on your facebook home page. Below shows there are 7 new orders in my facebook shop - yongshopping.












All your customer order (and even your purchase from other facebook shop) are listed. Here you can easily find the customer email, address and purchase item photo.

Your products are displayed at your profile where your customer can click and buy. Do take advantage of the free facebook app to add a shopping cart to your facebook profile.

Facebook is the upcoming fashion shop. It makes selling so easy. Many shops are using their facebook profile to sell. Uploading photos from computer to facebook is as easy as 123. Now I am adding a shop feature inside your facebook profile. Your customer can easily order at your profile!

Livejournal has a tedious "comment" method for customer to buy. It is very confusing and out of stock often annoy the customers.

However, times have changed. I have create a facebook shop that makes things very easy for new blog owner. It is a facebook application for individual selling. You can sell your fashion items or used items with the following feature.

1) promote your items on your new feed. All items are searchable until sold out. e.g. red tube dress
2) add a Order tab on your facebook profile. Customers can buy buy your products and provide shipping and payment info, right inside your profile...:)
3) list any used and unwanted items in your house. Get more space in your house. Maybe help your family financially.
4) an order list that facilitate your packing, shipping & payment verification.
5) a automatic sold out for quantity equals to zero, with backorder option.
6) buyer and seller review system e.g. get rid of dead buyer
7) customer payment status update e.g. bank, date & time
8) facebook profile notification of new order e.g. order (7) under your profile photo.
9) import photos from your computer via facebook. For livejournal and blogger, now is the best time to make use of facebook e.g. getting 5000 in your facebook friends .

Blogshop owner payment from buyer

I observe that as a blog owner, verify payment from customer is a tedious work. If a buyer ATM or bank transfer money to my OCBC bank account, I have no idea I have received the money unless I check my ibank daily. I do not know who pay if she uses ATM transfer money. If she uses ibank, I will get her Nick name.

I will be working on an automatic payment verification, that alert you when a buyer has paid. You can skip the payment verification and know that the money is already in your account, go ahead and mail the good.

However, I will need more feedback from you. Please comment if you need payment verification service. And any idea how it can benefit you and how it should work. Your comment is very important so that I know there is enough people who want payment verification auto service and make commitment to develop the free service. Please post your bank used in your blogshop. Thank you very much.

There are about 20 suppliers in City Plaza now targeting online fashion blogshops

Just a quick update of suppliers in City Plaza. Due to the high growth of livejournal and facebook shops, there are about 20 suppliers in City Plaza. Half of these suppliers started less than a year ago. As more and more blog owners are coming to City Plaza to source, more existing wholesalers are changing their fashion from aunt to teens and young adults. Not surprisingly, some of these new suppliers are daughters and sons of those old timer in City Plaza.

Be happy, there are more suppliers to choose from now. And suppliers have to provide better services due to the increased competition.

A facebook forum for your blogshop

Hello!

After some thought, i have created a facebook login forum for all blog owner to promote their shop and service. It is important that you post a question or answer in the forum. When customer read your post, she can click your fb profile photo and go directly to your facebook shop! Start your post!
